FilterPod is a prefabricated drop-in catchpit filter used to prevent waterborne sediment from entering stormwater systems.
The FilterPod Catchpit Filter is manufactured from a non-woven geotextile with high flow properties. This is placed into a catch pit and the lid of the catch pit holds the FilterPod in place. Two lifting eyes allow removal of the FilterPod to clean any sediment trapped in the FilterPod, the clean pod can then be reinstalled. The FilterPod is simple to remove once the project is complete.
The FilterPod also has an overflow at the top of the filter to prevent flooding when its capacity is exceeded in a significant storm event.
